About The Calm Collective Co - Our Story & Mission

Meet Kelly

Kelly Harman

Co-Founder | Coach | Educator | Trainer

Kelly brings over 20 years of experience in education, having worked as a teacher, senior leader, Designated Safeguarding Lead, rapid turn-around Headteacher and Director of Education before moving into coaching, nervous system education and trauma-informed practice.

Throughout her career, Kelly has worked with children, young people, families, educators and leaders, supporting people through challenge, change and periods of significant pressure. Her own experience of leadership, burnout and understanding the impact of prolonged stress has deeply shaped the work she does today.

Kelly specialises in nervous system regulation and trauma-informed practices , helping individuals, schools, workplaces and families understand what happens beneath behaviour, emotions, stress and overwhelm. Her work brings together positive psychology coaching, nervous system education and trauma-informed practices to make complex ideas practical, accessible and relevant to everyday life.

Kelly is passionate about changing the way we understand stress, behaviour and how our body and mind work. She believes that when we understand what is happening within our nervous system - and learn how to work with it rather than against it - we can create meaningful and lasting change.

Through a nervous-system-led and neuroinclusive approach, she is committed to helping create calmer, more connected workplaces, schools and families where people feel safe, seen and able to grow.
